Realme launched the Realme GT Neo 5 in February last year. As its successor, the Realme GT Neo 6 series smartphones are also expected to hit the market soon. Speculations have already started in the tech world about the handsets of this lineup. Multiple reports have also brought out different information. And now, a source has leaked the details of the processor used in the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 series.
What processor will Realme GT Neo 6 series have?
The tipster claimed in a post on digital chat station Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website) that the devices included in the Realme GT Neo 6 lineup will be powered by the upcoming mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset and the flagship grade Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor.
However, tipster DCS did not specifically reveal which phones will be equipped with these processors. However, the higher-end Realme GT Neo 6 model is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8th Gen series chip. On the other hand, the Realme GT Neo 6 SE model may have Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor. Digital Chat Station also said that both the smartphones will feature 1.5K resolution displays and support 100W wired fast charging.
It’s worth noting that Qualcomm hasn’t launched any of the mentioned processors yet, so the names of these chips may be different at launch. Incidentally, last week DCS shared another post about the Realme GT Neo 6 series. It also mentioned Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and 1.5K display. There is no other information available about the upcoming GT Neo 6 lineup at the moment.
