After Realme unveiled its latest GT Neo 5 series last February, it is now gearing up for the launch of its successor models. The brand is expected to launch the much-anticipated GT Neo 6 series by the end of this month or early August itself. Devices included in this lineup have now received approval from China’s 3C (CCC) authorities. The certification hinted at the upcoming launch of the devices as well as revealed important details about their charging capabilities. Let’s take a look at them.
Specifications of Realme GT Neo 6 Pale 3C
Two Realme devices with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 have been listed on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) site. These are likely to be launched as Realme GT Neo 6 and Realme GT Neo 6 Pro/240W. Both models have received 3C certification with certificate numbers 2023011606555333 and 2023011606555335 respectively. Both devices support 5G network and come with charging adapters bearing model numbers VCBEJACH and VCKCJACH.
In addition, the certification revealed specific charging specifications for each device. The RMX3820 (probably the Realme GT Neo 6) will have a dual-cell battery, with one cell having a capacity of 2,540 mAh (making the total capacity around 5,200 mAh). Besides, it will support 150W fast charging. On the other hand, the RMX3823 (probably Realme GT Neo 6 Pro/240W) will also come with a dual-cell battery, with a cell capacity of 2,225 mAh (total capacity around 4,600 mAh). This variant will offer a super-fast 240W fast charging support.
Realme GT Neo 6 Specifications (Probable)
Along with the 3C, the Realme GT Neo 6 series handsets recently appeared on China’s TENAA certification site, which revealed some of the key specifications of these devices. According to the listing, both smartphones will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 3.2 GHz. It’s probably the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Also, the Realme GT Neo 6 and GT Neo 6 Pro will feature a 1.5K (1.5K) AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. For selfies, these handsets may have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Realme GT Neo 6 series is available in four color options – White, Titanium Air Gray and Green.
