Realme GT 5 is entering the market with Sony camera sensor and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

After launching Realme GT 2, Realme GT 2 Pro in January this year, Realme has not launched any new phone under this series in China. However, it is heard that the brand will unveil the new flagship smartphone in its home market in August. Today again popular tipster digital chat station claimed that Realme’s new flagship device will be named Realme GT 5.

Realme GT 5 is launching soon with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

Recently, two Realme phones with model numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 were spotted on China’s TENAA and 3C certification sites. Both the devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. However, their battery capacity and charging speed are different. A few days back a report claimed that the RMX3820/3 model number will be used for the Realme GT Neo 6 phone.

However, Digital Chat Station reported today that Realme is going to bring a GT series phone to China soon. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. And this phone will be named Realme GT 5. This handset will have model number RMX3820/3.

Talking about features, the Realme GT5 phone will have a 6.74-inch 1.5K resolution OLED display, which will support 144 Hz refresh rate. And it will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. It will have a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 rear camera with OIS support can be seen at the back. It will have two variants, one with a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support. And the other will come with a 5,200mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.
