It was recently reported that Realme is working on a new affordable smartphone under their C-series, called the Realme C65. It has already appeared in multiple certification databases including TDRA of United Arab Emirates, TUV Rheinland, Camera FV-5 and EEC of Europe. And now, the Realme C65 has received approval from Indonesia’s SDPPI authorities, indicating the phone’s imminent global launch.
Realme C65 gets SDPPI approval
Realme C65 with model number RMX3910 is listed in Indonesia’s SDPPI database under certificate number 97918/SDPPI/2024. Although it did not reveal anything about the specifications of the Realme phone, it has given the green signal for its arrival in the Indonesian market. The phone will have a 4,880 mAh battery, which will likely be marketed as 5,000 mAh. Also, the battery will offer 45W SuperVOOC (SuperVOOC) fast charging.
The listing of Camera FV-5 confirms that the Realme C65’s rear camera will have 26.7mm equivalent focal length, 3.9mm physical focal length and f/1.8 aperture. It will offer electronic image stabilization (EIS) support and a horizontal field-of-view of 68.1 degrees and a vertical field-of-view of 53.7 degrees.
Note that these camera features are similar to the Realme C67, which was launched in December last year with a 50-megapixel primary camera. The device offers a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The 4G variant of the phone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor, while the 5G model offers the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 chip.
