
Realme is reportedly going to launch the Realme 16 series of smartphones in China soon. Recently, a smartphone from this series was spotted on TENAA’s certification site. From here it has emerged that the Realme 16 Pro model will have a 200 megapixel primary camera. Now, courtesy of tipster Smart Pikachu, it has been revealed that the Redmi Note 16 series will also feature a 200-megapixel camera.
Realme, Redmi phones will have 200 megapixel cameras
Reports suggest that Realme and Redmi are currently testing mid-range phones with 200-megapixel primary cameras. The tipster said that the upcoming Redmi Note 16 series will have a 200-megapixel camera. However, the 200-megapixel camera is unlikely to be found in the standard model of the series and the Note 16 Pro+ and Note 16 Pro models may offer this camera instead.
The Realme 16 Pro comes with a 200-megapixel camera
The upcoming Realme device will also have a 200-megapixel primary rear camera. An 8-megapixel secondary rear sensor will be available with it. The Realme 16 Pro+ model in the series may also feature the same camera hardware, with an additional periscope telephoto camera.
Since the Redmi Note 15 series was launched in August this year, the Note 16 lineup is likely to hit the market in the same month next year. The R series Pro models may feature a 1.5K OLED flat display and a 7500mAh battery.
Talking about the Realme 16 series, the devices could hit the market by the end of this month or in January 2026. The series will then enter the global market.
