Realme launched its latest smartphone series Realme 11 Pro in the Indian market on June 8. A total of two models come under the rumored lineup, namely – Realme 11 Pro 5G and Realme 11 Pro+ 5G. Both the models are currently available for purchase from the official website of the company’s Indian arm and other partner retail outlets including e-commerce site Flipkart. Now let’s talk about the most significant news. Today, almost 2 weeks after the launch, Realme has announced a new warranty extension plan for their new series with a validity of one year. As a result, Indian buyers who will or have purchased Realme 11 Pro series phones can avoid the burden of various repairing and after servicing costs for one more year instead of paying a small amount of money.
Indian buyers will be offered a 1-year warranty extension plan with the Realme 11 Pro series
If you have purchased a Realme 11 Pro series phone and want an additional one-year extended warranty with it, you can purchase the new warranty extension plan by paying Rs 1,299. According to a latest tweet by Realme India, phone users of the series can make multiple repair or repairing requests for this plan. Also, in case of any mechanical or electrical defect in the registered device legally imported into India or sold through Realme’s official sales channel, repairs can be done under this extension plan by showing the invoice issued at the time of purchase or warranty/guarantee card issued by the company.
To inform those interested, one year warranty extension plan can be purchased through Realme’s official store, official website and selected e-commerce portals in India, according to the company.
Specifications of Realme 11 Pro series
Now let’s discuss the specifications of Realme 11 Pro 5G and 11 Pro+ 5G smartphones. The Realme 11 Pro series features a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices in the series are powered by MediaTek Dimension 7050 processor. Both the phones will be available with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
There is a difference between the two handsets in the camera department. For example, the Realme 11 Pro phone comes with a 100-megapixel dual rear camera setup. On the other hand, the Realme 11 Pro+ model will be available with a 200-megapixel triple rear camera unit. Apart from this, both the phones have – in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and dual speakers.
In India, the price of the standard model of the series i.e. Realme 11 Pro starts at Rs 23,999. Whereas the higher-end Realme 11 Pro+ smartphone has a starting price of Rs 27,999.
