And now, Poco India head Himanshu Tandon has announced that the company has received great response from customers for the current ‘5’ series of numbers and these phones have helped make Poco even more popular in the Indian market. Now the company has started preparing to launch their new smartphone tour with the number ‘6’. Even, Himanshu Tandon mentioned about the launch of the first 6 series smartphone in his social media post.
Poco M6 Pro may come to Indian market soon
Poco India’s country head Himanshu Tandon gave a message on his tweet to move ahead with the sixth generation Poco phone. Even though it says ‘Coming Soon’, it neatly does not mention the launch date of the upcoming phone for once. However, a new Poco phone with model number 23076PC4BI was recently spotted in the IMEI database, which is expected to launch as the Poco M6 Pro 5G. Reliable tipster Casper Crazypack claims that the M6 Pro model could be launched in the Indian market soon. So it is assumed that Himanshu Tandon is probably talking about this phone.
Also, Kasper Krazypek claimed that the M6 Pro 5G will be launched as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12R that was launched in China last month. The Redmi Note 12R features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a centered punch-hole camera cutout. This screen offers FullHD+ (2,460 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 550 nits peak brightness, 1,500:1 contrast ratio and SGS Low Blue Light certification. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor with Adreno 613 GPU. The Note 12R comes with 4GB / 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. And in front of the phone is a 5 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. For power backup, the Redmi Note 12R includes a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone offers a 3.5mm headphone port for audio and Hi-Res audio support and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Redmi Note 12R is priced at 1,099 Renminbi (roughly Rs. 12,500) in the Chinese market. Also, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage models of the smartphone are priced at 1,199 renminbi (approx. Tk 13,700) and 1,799 renminbi (approx. Tk 20,500) respectively.
