The Poco M6 smartphone has been quietly listed on the brand's global website, revealing all its specifications and features. Also, the brand recently published an X (formerly known as Twitter) post to confirm the prices of the two variants of the Poco M6 phone. The Poco M6 handset will feature an IPS LCD display, MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor, 108-megapixel primary camera and a 5,030 mAh battery. Poco M6: Specifications and Features
The Poco M6 phone has a 6.79-inch IPS LCD panel, which offers FullHD+ resolution, 20.5:9 ratio, 450 nits peak brightness and DC dimming. The Poco M6 handset has a premium look thanks to the glass back panel. For photography, the rear panel of the device includes a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. And in front of the phone, a 13-megapixel camera is located in the punch-hole display for selfies and video calls.
For performance, the Poco M6 comes with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. But for additional storage, the device will get a microSD card slot. The device runs on Android 14 custom skin, with a layer of HyperOS custom skin on top. For power backup, it houses a large 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
For security, the Poco M6 phone offers a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The device offers features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, Near Field Communication (NFC), a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port. Finally, the device measures 168.6 x 76.28 x 8.3 mm and weighs 205 grams. The device is actually a rebranded version of the Redmi 13 4G phone, which debuted in the market recently.
Poco M6: Price and Availability
The Poco M6 comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. These two variants are priced at $129 (approx. Tk. 10,775) and $149 (approx. Tk. 12,445) respectively. It will be available in three shades – Black, Silver and Purple. It is not yet known whether the Poco M6 will come to the Indian market.
