Poco India is currently rumored to be working on a new M-series smartphone. The upcoming model is said to come with the name Poco M6 Plus 5G. In this regard, this 5G model has been approved by the 'Bureau of Indian Standards' (BIS) certification site last week. Again, this upcoming M-series handset from the Poco brand has been spotted in the 'Google Play Console' database and 'Google Play Certified devices' listing. That is why it is expected that Poco M6 Plus 5G might make its debut in India very soon.

According to the listing on the Google Play Certified Devices site, the model number of the Poco M6 Plus 5G is 24065PC95I. The 'I' at the end of the model number confirms that the phone will be launched in India. Again, the '2406' number in the model number indicates that this Poco brand mobile phone will make its debut in the country in June 2024 (6). It has also come forward that Poco M6 Plus 5G has been codenamed 'Breeze'.
On the other hand, the database of Google Play console has revealed some information about the features of the upcoming Poco M6 Plus 5G phone. The device is said to come with a punch-hole notch (centered) design display supporting 440 ppi pixel density and 1080×2460 pixel resolution. It may have 8 GB RAM and Android 14 operating system pre-loaded.
The listing also reveals that the Poco M6 Plus 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM4450 processor with 2 performance cores, 6 efficiency cores and an Adrenaline 613 GPU. In this case, the 2 performance cores integrated in the chipset will be based on Cortex-A78 and will clock at a maximum frequency rate of 2.2 GHz, the listing also confirmed. Looking at all the specifications, it seems that the device will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.
Incidentally, some recent reports also claim that the Poco M6 Plus 5G will come as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R model that was launched in China last month.
