Poco F8 Pro is launching soon in global markets including India. Recently, a picture of the phone’s retail box was leaked. Also, a tipster claims that the upcoming Poco F series smartphone will not have a charging adapter. The device will debut as the successor to the Poco F7 Pro. And according to previous reports, the Poco F8 Pro will actually be the global variant of the Redmi K90 handset, which was launched in China a few days ago and features a 6.59-inch OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Poco F8 Pro retail box image leaked
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared the retail box image of the Poco F8 Pro online today. The ‘Sound by Bose’ branding is seen on the box. Note that the Redmi K90 series was launched last month with the same audio brand of technology, which makes it more clear that the Poco F8 Pro model will actually be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90.
Poco F8 Pro will be available without charger
The tipster also claims that the Poco F8 Pro will not come with a charger in the box. However, the Poco F7 Pro comes with a 90W in-box charger. And the Redmi K90 model is also available with a charging adapter.
Notably, the Poco F8 Pro has recently been cleared by Singapore’s IMDA certification site with model number 25102PCBE. It is said to have 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC support. Besides, its other specifications are expected to be similar to the Redmi K90.
The Redmi K90 device has a Bose tuned audio setup and runs on Android 16 based Hyper OS 3 custom skin. It features a 6.59-inch OLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. A triple rear camera unit is present at the back for photography. Which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. It will also get a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Power backup is provided by 7100mAh battery with 100W charging support and 22.5W reverse charging support.
And in China, the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant of Redmi K90 has been priced at 2599 Yuan (about Rs. 32,000).
