It was recently reported that Xiaomi’s subsidiary smartphone brand, Poco is going to launch their next C-series phone called Poco C61 in the Indian market soon. It has already received approval from certification platforms like Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG). It has also previously appeared in the Google Play Console database. All these listings indicate that the Poco C61 is likely to be the rebranded version of the recently unveiled budget range Redmi A3. And now a pre-launch report has revealed the full specifications and price of Poco C61 along with renders.
Poco C61 Price and Renders (Probable)
According to a report by Appuals, the Poco C61 phone will arrive in the Indian market in two variants – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. These variants can be priced at Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,499 respectively in India. A render was also shared in the report, which showcased the Poco C61 in Black, Blue and Green color options.
Poco C61 Key Specifications (Expected)
According to reports, the Poco C61 will feature a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display, which will offer HD+ resolution of 1,650 x 720 pixels, 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate and 500 nits peak brightness. The screen will be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3.
In terms of performance, the Poco C61 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, paired with 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage. But it will also get a microSD card slot for additional storage. For power backup, the Poco C61 will likely come with a large 5,000mAh battery with 10W standard charging support.
For photography, the rear camera setup of the Poco C61 will have a dual-camera unit with an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor. And for selfies, the phone will house a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. In addition, the Poco C61 is also said to include a USB-C port, side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack. Last year, the current generation Poco C51 was launched in April. So it is believed that its successor will enter the market next month.
