The Poco F6 5G smartphone is set to launch on May 23 in global markets including India, along with the high-end Poco F6 Pro 5G model. The brand has already confirmed that the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor will be used in this upcoming F series phone. Poco F6 5G: Specifications and Features (Possible)
The Poco F6 5G will be India's first smartphone with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset. This Snapdragon processor is a flagship-grade chipset, featuring the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is built on a 4 nanometer node and has a Cortex-X4 Prime core.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chipset features the same modem, memory, display and image ISP as the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Poco has already revealed that the Poco F6 5G model will feature a dual-rear camera setup, housing a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
Notably, the Poco F6 5G handset is expected to be the rebranded version of the performance-focused Redmi Turbo 3 phone that was recently unveiled in China. The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and 2,400 nits peak. It is expected to have up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The handset may be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. It will probably run on HyperOS custom skin based on Android 14 operating system.
For photography, the rear panel of the Poco F6 5G handset may feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide sensor. A 20 megapixel selfie camera will probably be seen in front of the phone. Poco F6 5G is expected to come with several attractive features including an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP64 rating, an IR blaster, Dolby Atmos support.
