iQOO recently launched a new smartphone series called Neo 8-series in the Chinese market. A total of two models debuted under the new lineup, namely – iQOO Neo 8 powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and iQOO Neo 8 Pro powered by Dimensity 9200+ processor. Both devices come with a maximum 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. Again the brand was seen launching a top-end variant with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage only for the ‘Pro’ model of this new series.

The new iQOO Neo 8 Pro model offers a number of premium features with a flagship-level processor. Due to which it has caught the attention of tech-lovers in a great way. But now the device seems to gain special popularity for another feature. In fact, this is the first time iQOO is offering a storage option of up to 1 terabyte on a device in their lineup. More storage is supposed to make the phone perform faster.

The new 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant of the iCo Neo 8 Pro smartphone has been priced at 3,699 Yuan (roughly Rs. 43,400 at the Indian price) in the Chinese market. Now let’s know about the features of the device in detail.

Specifications and features of iQOO Neo 8 Pro

The iCo Neo 8 Pro smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800×1260 pixels) AMOLED display, which supports 10:9 aspect ratio, refresh rate up to 144 Hz, 92.9% screen-to-body ratio and HDR technology. The display has a flat design and has a hole-punch cutout right in the middle of its surface. This ‘Pro’ model of the series is equipped with MediaTek Dimension 9200+ processor, Immortalis-G715 GPU and Vivo V1+ image signal processor to provide enhanced performance. This hardware combination will help handle high-performance gaming with ease. The Chinese version of the phone in question runs Android 13-based Origin OS 3.0 custom skin. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Talking about the camera department, the new iQOO Neo 8 Pro phone features a dual-camera setup on the back. These cameras are – 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.45 aperture is provided for selfies and video calling.

Talking about other features, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and a dual speaker system for great audio quality. Connectivity options of the phone include – Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3. Finally, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphone has a 5,000mAh capacity battery, supporting 120Hz fast charging. However, this handset will not support wireless charging technology.
