The popular brand Oppo launched the Reno 10 smartphone series in their home market earlier this year. At that time the company announced a total of three premium devices under the rumored lineup, namely – Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. And now it is known that Oppo is preparing to unveil its latest smartphone series globally including in India.
Please note that Oppo has not yet launched the Reno 9 series in the global market. However, it is planning to bring the new Reno 10 series with three flagship models instead. Although the launch date of this latest lineup has not been disclosed by the company. But thanks to a popular gadget research site, information regarding the India launch timeline, possible design and features of the upcoming Oppo Reno 10 series has already been leaked.
Oppo Reno 10 Smartphone Series Expected Launch Timeline
The exact launch date of the upcoming Oppo Reno 10 series is still unknown. However, according to a latest report by 91Mobiles, the devices in this lineup may make their debut in India by mid-July. Oppo Reno 10 series design and features leaked ahead of launch in India
Live images of Oppo Reno 10 series have been leaked online long before the launch. A report by 91Mobiles mentions that the top-end model in the series Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ will come in Twilight Purple and Moon Sea Black colors. Its design will be more or less similar to the Chinese variant. In the leaked images, the device is seen with a dual-tone back panel design. This back panel again features a wide pill-shaped camera module. The cutout on the top of the camera module houses the two sensors and an LED flash. And at the bottom there is a periscope lens, right next to which the words “Powered by MariSilicon” will be noticed.
Now let’s discuss what features the Indian version of the Oppo Reno 10 series can offer. Reports claim that the lineup, which is set to make its debut in India, will offer a different camera and chipset than the original Chinese variant.
It is known that the standard model of the series i.e. the Indian version of Oppo Reno 10 will come with MediaTek Dimension 7050 processor. Whereas the Chinese version has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 10 Pro model will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset instead of MediaTek Dimension 8200 processor. And the higher-end Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G model will offer the same processor as the Chinese variant in India as well. That means it will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Meanwhile, minor changes will be seen in the camera department. For example, the Indian variant of the Oppo Reno 10 series of devices is said to come with a telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the rumored phone-trio may debut globally – in Black, Blue and Purple color options. However, the golden color option remains ‘exclusive’ only for China. And talking about the charging capacity, the Chinese and Indian versions of the Oppo Reno 10 series will offer the same charging technology. For example, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G model will support 100W fast charging. Either way, the Oppo Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro smartphones will come with 80W fast charging support.
