Rumors have been rife for months that Oppo is working on a new smartphone under their A-series. Although the name of the phone has not been revealed yet, it was rumored to be launched soon. However, this time it is known from Thailand’s NBTC certification site that this much awaited smartphone will enter the market under the name of Oppo A78 5G. Apart from the name, let’s find out what information has surfaced so far.
Oppo A78 5G is going to hit the market soon
An Oppo phone with model number CPH2565 has been listed on Indonesia’s TKDN certification platform. In addition, the device has also been spotted on the certification platform of the European Economic Community (EEC). It even appeared in the database of Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). Which revealed the official name of the smartphone as Oppo A78 5G. Notably, another handset with the same name was launched in the Indian market earlier this year.
Based on the information received, the device is expected to be launched in the Thailand market soon. Oppo A78 5G is going to be the successor of Oppo A77 5G which was launched in June last year. Note that the A77 5G model was launched in the Indian market as Oppo K10 5G. So there is a possibility that the Oppo A78 5G model will debut as a K-series phone in different countries.
However, apart from the model number CPH2565 and the name Oppo A78 5G, no other information is known from the listings. That is, no details about the specifications, price and design of this handset have been revealed yet. However, since the A78 5G has appeared on multiple certification platforms, it is expected that more information about the phone will be revealed soon.
