As promised, OnePlus held a launch event in India today (July 5), where it took the wraps off several new devices from its Nord series. Among them, the much-awaited OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone was the main attraction of the event, making its debut as the brand’s latest mid-ranger. But the company also unveiled the OnePlus Nord CE 3 phone today with some excellent specifications at a relatively affordable price. This new OnePlus device offers powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset and 80W fast charging support. The handset also features a large AMOLED panel and a 50-megapixel camera setup. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Price and Availability in India
OnePlus Nord CE 3 base variant with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage has been priced at Tk 26,999 in this country. Its higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB variant can be bought for Tk 28,999. The phone is available in Gray Shimmer and Aqua Surge color options. OnePlus has said that the Nord CE 3 will be available for purchase in the month of August, but no specific date has been mentioned yet.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Specifications and Features
The design of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is similar to the recently launched Nord CE 3 Lite. Its almost flat back panel features two large camera rings. And on the front is a flat 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone has very slim bezels around the display, which gives it a premium look. The OnePlus Nord CE3’s screen offers a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,160 Hz PWM dimming. The panel is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
For performance, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor. It is an octa-core CPU built on a 6 nanometer process, with a high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 core clocked at 2.7 GHz. The chip is paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB in-built storage. OnePlus Nord CE 3 runs on OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android operating system. The company has promised that the phone will get two years of OS and three years of security updates.
For photography, the triple camera setup on the rear panel of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). And the main sensor is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. And there is a 16 megapixel selfie camera in front of the phone. For power backup, the Nord CE 3 uses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
