OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 12 smartphone in China in December this year. Although the device is a few months away from being launched, the tech world is already buzzing with speculations about the phone. Its design and complete specifications were recently leaked online. OnePlus launched the current generation OnePlus 11 5G phone in global markets including India last February. Hence, it is speculated that the OnePlus 12 will also debut in the global market by February next year. But now, a reliable tipster has revealed that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will launch earlier than expected in the global market. Let’s know when OnePlus 12 will reach the Indian market.
The OnePlus 12 5G global launch event may take place in January 2024
Tipster Max Jumbo claimed in one of his tweets that the OnePlus 12 will enter the global market in January next year. It will hit the global market a month earlier than the previous generation model. Notably, the handset is expected to be unveiled in all key markets outside of China, including India. Several specifications of the OnePlus 12 have been leaked online so far.

According to recent reports, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with (2K) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be enhanced by LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rate The device may be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will be unveiled at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2023 event next October. It is expected to offer a maximum of 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of software, the OnePlus 12 will run on Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 custom skin.
For photography, the OnePlus 12’s rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B-34B sensor. And a 32 megapixel selfie camera will be seen in front of the phone.
Finally for power backup, the OnePlus 12 is said to sport a massive 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
