On March 26, Vivo launched two foldable devices named Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro in their home market. Now it is known that the company will soon unveil these two latest foldable smartphones in India as well. A recent report claims that two foldable phones will not be launched at the same time. The first standard model of the series i.e. Vivo X Fold 3 may make its debut in the country.
The specifications of the Indian version of this handset are yet to be revealed. However, Vivo has confirmed that the upcoming model will enter the market as the thinnest foldable device in the country. It is said to be 10.2mm thick when folded. Besides, all the features of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 phone in India are expected to be similar to the Chinese variant.
Vivo X Fold 3 Phone Specifications (China Variant)
The Chinese variant of the new Vivo X Fold 3 smartphone features an 8.03-inch 2K (1,172×2,748 pixels) E7 AMOLED primary display, protected by Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). On the back of the device is a 6.53-inch spherical AMOLED covered touchscreen. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to deliver better performance. Up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 Terabyte of UFS4.0 memory will be available as storage. This foldable phone runs on the latest Android 14 based OriginOS 4 custom skin.
Talking about the camera department, the Vivo X Fold 3 smartphone has been launched with a triple rear camera setup. These cameras are – 50 megapixel VCS primary lens + 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor + 5 megapixel portrait shooter. Meanwhile, the handset houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera on both the primary and cover displays. Besides, there is a 5,500 mAh capacity battery with 80 W wired fast charging support for power backup.
Vivo X Fold 3 Phone Price (Chinese Variant)
The Vivo X Fold 3 smartphone has arrived in the Chinese market with a total of two color options, namely – Feather White and Thin Wing Black. It is available in four storage configurations. Of which the base model with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is priced at 6,999 Yuan (around Rs. 80,000 in Indian price). The higher-end 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variants are priced at 7,499 Yuan (roughly Rs. 87,800) and 7,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 93,600) respectively. Additionally, the top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage option is priced at 8,999 Yuan (roughly Rs. 1,00,700).
