Nothing Phone (2) will be a Made in India smartphone, catering to all the needs of Indians

The Carl Pei-led company has already revealed how to make their upcoming device sustainable. The Nothing Phone (2) model will reportedly have a lower carbon footprint than the outgoing model. It will come with three times more recycled or bio-based materials than its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (1). The device will be offered with plastic-free packaging. Also, the aluminum frame of the phone will be made of 100% recyclable materials.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed that their upcoming second handset in the portfolio will come with a bigger battery and display than its predecessor. It will have a 6.7-inch display panel. Tipsters claim that this display might offer a 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD Plus resolution, hole-punch style cutouts and a flat design. And for power backup, it will be provided with a battery of 4,700 mAh capacity. It is believed that this battery will support 33W fast charging. For performance the device will have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Meanwhile, according to a listing on benchmarking site GeekBench, the Nothing Phone (2) will launch with 8GB / 12GB RAM and may offer 128GB / 256GB options. As for the operating system, the device might have the latest Android 13-based Nothing OS 1.5 pre-loaded.
