Apple has long been rumored to launch an affordable iPhone SE 4 this year. However, a recent report claims that the device will be named iPhone 16e instead of iPhone SE 4. Apart from this, various specifications and features of the device have also been leaked.
iPhone SE 4 will be launched as iPhone 16e
Popular tipster Mazin Bu has claimed on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) that the affordable iPhone model will be launched in the global market as the iPhone 16e. Note that last year Apple launched the iPhone 16 lineup and this year the tech giant will bring a new number series with the iPhone 17 Air.
iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16e models will have this processor
According to reports, the iPhone 16e smartphone could be powered by Apple's A18 processor and despite the device being affordable, it is speculated to launch with Apple Intelligence features. Earlier, tipster Fixed Focus Digital posted pictures of the device's case on Chinese social media platform Weibo. According to the case renders, the camera island can be seen on the upper left side of the phone's back panel.
Again, the design of the iPhone SE 4 or iPhone 16e may be similar to the iPhone 14. Talking about its possible features, it will get a 6.08-inch LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 800 nits. It will have 8 GB of RAM. Face ID is also available for biometric security.
The device may come with a 3279mAh battery and offer a 48-megapixel rear camera like the iPhone 16. Talking about the price, it can be priced between Rs 42,000 and Rs 46,000 in India.
