No SIM or network needed to make calls, Oppo is launching a new phone with a big surprise

The flagship Oppo Find X7 series was recently launched in China, consisting of two models, the standard Oppo Find X7 and the top-end Find X7 Ultra. Of these, the Ultra model was initially rumored to have a different version with satellite communication support. Although Oppo did not mention anything about this during the launch. But now it is heard that the brand is still working on the Satellite edition of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra. And now this phone has been spotted on China’s 3C (CCC) certification platform. Let’s find out what information came out from the certification.

Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Version got 3C certification

The upcoming Oppo Find X7 Ultra smartphone with model number PHY120 has been listed in the China Compulsory Certification Database. The certification confirms support for satellite communication with 5G connectivity on this phone Also, it reveals that the Satellite Edition of the Find X7 Ultra will support 100W charging, same as the regular Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The phone can also support 50W wireless charging. Apart from charging, other specifications of the satellite version are likely to be similar to the standard Find X7 Ultra.

Notably, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra features a 6.82-inch QHD+ curved LTPO display, which offers up to 1,600 nits of brightness. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

For photography, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra has a quad-camera setup powered by the HyperTone Image Engine, housing four 50-megapixel cameras with large sensors. The primary camera features the latest Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor, while the ultra-wide lens is adept at taking macro and wide shots. However, one of the highlights of the Find X7 Ultra is the dual periscope cameras. One lens offers 3x zoom for close-ups and the other supports 6x zoom for landscape and macro photography.

For power backup, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra uses a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 100W SUPERVOOC charging. Other features of the device include Android 14 OS-based ColorOS 14 custom skin and Near Field Communication (NFC), WiFi-7 and Bluetooth 5.4 version.
