Two of Xiaomi's new phones have received BIS certification in India. One is the Redmi Note 14 and the other will come with Poco branding.
Recently a Redmi phone with model number 24094RAD4C has been approved by China's 3C authorities. The Bureau of Indian Standards in India has now approved the Indian version of the device with model number 24094RAD4I. Along with the Indian variant, an upcoming Poco phone has also appeared on the BIS certification site.
Redmi Note 14/ Poco X7 Neo Pale BIS Certification
Two upcoming smartphones with model numbers 24094RAD4I and 2409FPCC4I have received approval from BIS authorities. As mentioned earlier, the first model is believed to be the Indian version of the Redmi Note 14 phone. In June, Europe's EEC certification platform approved the global version of the device, which carries the 24094 RAD4G model number.
On the other hand, the “PC” letters mentioned in the model number 2409FPCC4I indicate that it is an upcoming Poco smartphone. Please note that the Redmi Note 13 5G phone runs on the MediaTek Dimension 6080 chipset. Poco launched the MediaTek Dimension 6080 chipset-powered Poco X6 Neo in March as a slightly modified version of the Redmi Note 13. So, it is believed that 2409F PCC4I could be the model number of Poco X7 Neo phone. But these are speculations, so only time will tell how true these facts are.
Incidentally, the China Compulsory Certification has revealed that the Redmi Note 14 handset may come with a 45W fast charger. However, other specifications of the device are yet to be revealed.
Recent reports suggest that the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 and MediaTek Dimension 7350 chipsets respectively. Both the phones may feature a 1.5K resolution OLED panel with curved edges and a 50-megapixel triple camera system at the back.
