Samsung Galaxy A06 was recently launched in Vietnam. It is heard that the smartphone will soon enter India. While the company hasn't said anything, the handset's appearance on the BIS or Bureau of Indian Standards website points to the same. A report by 91Mobiles revealed an internal document Samsung shared with its retail partners. From there, it is learned that the Galaxy A06 will be available in two memory configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage. The price will be Rs 9,999 and Rs 11,499 respectively.

Samsung has launched this phone with a 6.7-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate with a waterdrop notch. Notably, the screen of the predecessor A05 model also had 60 Hz refresh rate support. Like the previous model, it uses the Helio G85 processor. The company has assured to provide 2 years of operating system updates and 4 years of security patches.
Android 14 version is pre-installed on this smartphone. The rear panel houses a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. For power backup, the Galaxy A06 model will get a powerful 5,000mAh battery, which supports 25W charging.
