New features leaked before the launch, what new information has been leaked about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone was launched in January last year. Skipping a generation later, the South Korean company is reportedly gearing up to launch its new fan edition phone called the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. Speculations about the device have been rife for the past few months. The hardware specifications of the smartphone have already surfaced. And now, the Wireless Power Consortium has revealed information about the Galaxy S23 FE’s wireless charging.

Wireless charging capacity of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

According to information from the Wireless Power Consortium, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE phone will only support 4.4W wireless charging. This is somewhat surprising, as its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, had up to 15W wireless charging support. It is believed that the toggle for fast wireless charging was probably not enabled during testing, resulting in lower charging rates.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Specifications (Probable)

Recent reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will feature a 6.4-inch Super-AMOLED (S-AMOLED) display with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is rumored to use Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chipset, but in some countries the handset may also launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The phone will be available in 6GB/8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants.

In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have a 50-megapixel triple camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the back. And a 32 megapixel front camera will be located in front of the phone. For power backup, the Galaxy S23 FE could be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that will support 25W wired charging. This new Samsung phone is said to run One UI 5.1.1 software version based on Android 13 operating system.
