Although not able to spread much influence in the global market, there is a considerable demand for Meizu’s products in its own home market, namely China. The brand today launched a new flagship smartphone to take on the big names Named Meizu 21 Pro. It is an upgraded model of the standard Meizu 21 launched in November last year. Specifications and features of Meizu 21 Pro
The Meizu 21 Pro features the same design as the standard variant with a flat frame and three vertically mounted camera sensors at the back with RGB LED flash. It offers an IP68-certified dust and water-resistant chassis. The front of the device features a slightly larger 6.79-inch BoE screen with slim bezels and a punch-hole cutout. It offers 2K resolution, 1,250 nits peak brightness and 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. An ultra-sonic fingerprint scanner is also embedded.
For photography, the Meizu 21 Pro has a triple rear camera. This setup houses a 1/1.3-inch 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 122-degree field-of-view (FoV) and a 10-megapixel telephoto unit with 3x optical and 30x digital zoom. And there is a 32 megapixel selfie camera in front of the phone. The device supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). It is capable of recording up to 8K video.
For performance, the Meizu 21 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It is paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of in-built storage. For heat dissipation, this Meizu phone has a large VC liquid cooling area. For power backup, the Meizu 21 Pro uses a 5,050mAh battery with 80W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging support. Meizu 21 Pro runs on Flyme OS with AI features. Also, the Meizu 21 Pro has several notable features including dual stereo speakers, a linear motor, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi, NFC.
Meizu 21 Pro price and availability
The Meizu 21 Pro will be available in Starry Night Black, Meizu White Laurel Green (silicone) and Glacier Blue color options in the Chinese market. The standard 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the phone is priced at 4,999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 57,655). Besides, the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variants are priced at 5,399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 62,270) and 5,899 Yuan (approx. Rs. 68,035) respectively.
