Motorola is currently preparing for the launch of several of their phones. One of them is the Motorola S50 Neo. Now the company has officially announced the launch date of this phone. The device will launch this month alongside the Motorola Razr 50 series.
Motorola recently announced the launch schedule of the Motorola Razr 50 series. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker's next-generation foldables are set to hit the market as the Motorola Razr 50 and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. But these are not the only handsets that the company is preparing to launch. Along with these folding handsets, Motorola has also confirmed to unveil the S50 Neo phone. Along with the launch date, Lenovo China is also revealing the phone's design and key specifications. Let's take a look at them.
Motorola is launching several new smartphones this month
It has been announced that the Motorola S50 Neo phone will be unveiled in China on June 25, along with the Motorola Razr 50 series. The official launch of the phones was announced via a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. The much-awaited launch event in China will begin at 2 PM local time (11:30 AM in India).
Motorola S50 Neo Specifications
The Motorola S50 Neo and Motorola Razr 50 series are currently listed on Lenovo's website in China. Among them, the design and specifications of the S series phone have been displayed. The front of the Motorola S50 Neo phone features a curved OLED (OLED) display with a punch-hole cutout in the middle for the selfie camera.
According to the company's website, the Motorola S50 Neo will be available in Black, Blue and Green color options. It is confirmed to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. It will have a 5,000 mAh battery and the phone will come with a slim profile of 7.59 mm.
On the other hand, Motorola Razr 50 was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform with MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, 8GB RAM and Android 14 OS. It will likely have a 4,200 mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. The phone is rumored to come with a 3.6-inch OLED cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.9-inch pOLED primary display with a dual rear camera setup. The higher-end Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is said to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is said to have a 6.9-inch primary OLED screen and a 2-inch cover screen. The device may have a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 4,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging.
