Lenovo subsidiary Motorola is currently gearing up to launch the Motorola Razr 50 foldable smartphone series. The lineup includes the Motorola Razr 50 5G and the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G models, both of which are flip-style foldable handsets. Now ahead of the official announcement, a report has leaked render images and key specifications of both of these upcoming Motorola foldable phones. Motorola Razr 50 5G and Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G design and specifications leaked
A recent report by 91mobiles revealed several details about the Motorola Razr 50 series. The upcoming Motorola Razr 50 5G will be available in Gray and Khaki color options. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G will be available in Orange, Green and Blue color shades. But expect Motorola to use different marketing names for these colors.
The render images reveal that the design lines of the Motorola Razr 50 5G series are very similar to the previous Razer phones. However, one notable difference between the Razer 50 5G and the Razer 50 Ultra is that the regular model appears to have slimmer screen bezels than the Ultra model. Also, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G phone's cover screen is bigger than the regular Razer 50 5G handset.
The Motorola Razr 50 5G phone will have a 6.9-inch POLED primary display with 1,080 x 2,640 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. And the cover display will be a 3.63-inch polarized panel. The phone will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel and a 13-megapixel sensor. Also, it will house a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimension 7300X chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will weigh 188 grams and be 7.2 mm slim. The phone has a 4,200 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G is a more premium model. It will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The phone has a 6.9-inch polarized primary display with 1,080 x 2,640 resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate. And the cover screen has a 4.0 inch polarized panel. The Razr 50 Ultra 5G handset will feature a dual camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors on the back and a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The phone is available in 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version. In terms of power backup, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 5G will come with a 4,000mAh battery, which will support 45W charging.
