Motorola Edge 70 Ultra coming with 16 GB RAM, new Snapdragon processor

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra is coming soon as the successor of Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. Although its launch date is not yet known. However, the handset was recently spotted on popular benchmarking site Geekbench. From here several specifications of the phone have come forward. It is known that it will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. And the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra device will be available with up to 16 GB of RAM. It will run on Android 16 operating system.

The Motorola Edge 70 Ultra smartphone was recently listed on the Geekbench website with the model number XT2603-1. It is included here with an octa-core chipset. This chipset features two prime cores clocked at 3.65 GHz and six performance cores clocked at 3.32 GHz. This configuration indicates that it will likely be the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

Along with the octa-core processor, the device is seen here with 14.96 GB of RAM, which is actually 16 GB of RAM. It is also known that the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra model will run on Android 16 operating system and will be provided with Adreno 829 GPU.

Meanwhile, the phone scored 2636 and 7475 points in the single and multi-core tests respectively on this benchmark site, indicating that it will be a premium handset and offer great performance.

Comes with OLED display

It should be noted that the company launched the Edge 60 series earlier this year, but there is no Ultra model in this series. So Motorola Edge 70 Ultra will actually be the successor of Edge 50 Ultra. Earlier it was known that this upcoming smartphone will have a 1.5K resolution OLED screen. And this handset may be launched in China as Moto X70 Ultra.
