After releasing the first teaser a few days ago, Motorola has now finally confirmed the launch date of the Moto Edge 50 Fusion phone officially from the company. The Moto Edge 50 Fusion is coming to the market next week
Motorola has announced that it will launch the Moto Edge 50 Fusion smartphone in India on May 16. The microsite, which went live on the Flipkart e-commerce platform, revealed that the Edge series handset features a 6.67-inch POLED display with a 144Hz high refresh rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating protection. ) will have a three-dimensional curved display.
The Moto Edge 50 Fusion will be available in three color options – Forest Blue with PMMA finish, Marshmallow Blue with Vegan Leather finish and Hot Pink with Vegan Leather Suede finish. The device will feature a 50-megapixel Sony Lite 700C primary camera sensor with 2 micrometer pixel size. And the main camera will be paired with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, capable of offering a 120-degree field of view and up to 4x macro shot capabilities. The Moto Edge 50 Fusion smartphone is confirmed to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM. This chip comes with support for 15 5G bands as well as WiFi 6 In terms of power backup, the Moto Edge 50 Fusion model will have a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. In terms of software, the Moto Edge 50 Fusion device will run on Android 14 operating system and will receive three years of OS updates and four years of security updates.
Note that there is no information about the price of the Moto Edge 50 Fusion handset yet. Pricing and availability details are expected to be revealed during the May 16 launch. However, it is expected to debut in the Rs 25,000 price range to compete with devices like the OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Nothing Phone (2a).
