Motorola is gearing up to launch its Edge 50 series of smartphones, starting with the Indian model of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. Apart from this, the brand is also working on a lower-midrange device, called the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Apart from the leak of various information about this phone, it has also been seen on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. And now, images of the Edge 50 Fusion have leaked, revealing the design of both the front and back panels.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion renders leaked
Android Headlines claims that Motorola will launch the Edge 50 Fusion on April 3, the same date as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is said to be available in three color options – Ballad Blue, Peacock Pink and Tidal Teal. All these color options feature a textured back panel, but only the Ballad Blue shade features a vegan leather finish. Talking about the design, it will have a curved back with two large camera cutouts. The edges are also curved and so is the display. The top center of the screen will have a punch-hole cutout for the camera.
The report also states that the Edge 50 Fusion will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED (pOLED) display, which will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which has also been confirmed by the Geekbench listing. It will come with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. For power backup, the Edge 50 Fusion will have a large 5,000mAh battery, which will support 68W fast charging.
For photography, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion’s rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. And a 32 megapixel front camera will be seen in front of the phone. It is said to come with an IP68 water and dust resistant rating. The price is expected to be between Rs 25,000 in India.
