Moto X50 Ultra launched by shaking the market, will get 50MP front camera for selfies

The screen has finally been removed from the Motorola X50 Ultra phone. This X series phone of the brand under Lenovo (Lenovo) has come to the market as a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra model. It has OLED display, IP68 water and dust resistance rating, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, 4,500 mAh battery and 50 megapixel primary camera. Moto X50 Ultra: Specifications and Features

The Moto X50 Ultra phone has a large 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate and offers a 10-bit color depth. It is equipped with HDR10+ and DC dimming capabilities and can reach peak brightness levels of up to 2,500 nits. The phone is quite durable. It has an IP68 rated build for water and dust resistance and a sturdy aluminum frame. Moto X50 Ultra has tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus layer on the front. Customers can choose the phone in genuine Nordic Wood, Forest Gray Vegan Leather and this year's Pantone 'Color of the Year', Peach Fuzz color options.

As for performance, the Moto X50 Ultra runs on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor and is available in several variants, including 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options. The phone runs on Android 14 based operating system.

For photography, the Moto X50 Ultra sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide (with macro option) sensor with 122-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture. And there is a triple camera setup comprising of a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x zoom and f/2.4 aperture. The device supports up to 100x super zoom. And in front of the phone is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus and f/1.9 aperture.

For power backup, the Moto X50 Ultra comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 125W TurboPower fast charging and 50W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging. For connectivity, the Moto X50 Ultra supports 5G standalone/non-standalone, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Near Field Communication (NFC) and USB Type-C port. It also has stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and supports Dolby head tracking.

Moto X50 Ultra: Price and Availability

In the Chinese market, the base 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model of the Moto X50 Ultra is priced at 3,999 yuan (about 46,230). And the higher-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model is priced at 4,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 49,700) and the top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB model is priced at 4,699 Yuan (approx. Rs. 55,400). Motorola X50 Ultra is currently on pre-order and will officially go on sale in China from May 24. Its global model, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is already available in different regions of the world. However, nothing is known for sure about when the phone will come to the Indian market.
