Motorola is working on an S series device for China, called the Moto S50 Neo. And now the name of the phone has been revealed.
Motorola is currently rumored to be working on their next S smartphone, which may be launched as the Moto S50 Neo. Recently, a new Motorola phone with model number XT2409-5 has received approval from China's TENA certification platform. The phone is likely to be the Moto S50 Neo, which is speculated to be the Chinese variant of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo model. The device is also approved for network access in China. Tipster WhyLab says that the Moto S50 Neo phone is likely to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset. It was earlier reported that the octa-core CPU has a maximum clock speed of 2.5 GHz, which also supports the speculation. Reports suggest that this is the same chipset used in the Honor 90 phone.
Let us know, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset has a Cortex-A710 core clocked at 2.5 GHz, three Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. For graphics it comes with Adreno 644 GPU. This chipset supports LPDDR4X memory and UFS storage. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
As per earlier reports, the Moto S50 Neo will be available in three colors – Grisile (Black), Nautical Blue, Poinciana (Red) and Latte (Beige). The leaked renders reveal that the phone will come with a familiar rear design. In terms of cameras, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. And the phone is expected to have a 32 megapixel front camera. The rear telephoto camera can offer 3x magnification.
Besides, the Moto S50 Neo phone will have a 6.36-inch full HD+ OLED display on the front, which will display a resolution of 1,200 x 2,670 pixels and 10-bit color. For power backup, it will have a 4,300 mAh battery and is expected to weigh 172 grams.
