Moto G64 5G Review: These 9 Reasons The Moto G64 5G Is The Best Budget Phone

Motorola launched the Moto G64 5G smartphone in the Indian market last month. The price of the handset in the country starts from Tk 17,990. And as features it has FHD+ IPS LCD display, MediaTek processor, 50 megapixel dual rear camera unit, powerful 6,000 mAh battery. Overall, this phone is quite attractive in terms of design. Overall, the Moto G64 5G is definitely a good smartphone. But there is definitely a difference between judging how good a phone is by looking at features and price, and going hands-on. So today we will give a review of this latest 5G phone of Motorola brand in this report.

Moto G64 5G Smartphone Review

Rear Design: Moto G64 5G phone comes with matte finish and polycarbonate body. The rectangular camera module is located on the left side of its back panel. Again the brand logo is noticeable right in the middle. This entire back panel design gives the device a sleek look. The phone comes with a good grip so it can be held comfortably for a long time. However, its weight is slightly higher, i.e. 192 grams. It comes in – Ice Lilac, Mint Green and Pearl Blue color options.

Front Design & Body Build: The front of the phone has a display panel surrounded by thick bezels, with a cutout for the selfie camera in the middle. This phone is very square in shape. On its side and bottom panels – dual SIM slots, a 3.5mm headphone jack slot, USB Type-C port are present. As the handset is IP52 rated, it is spill and splash resistant.

Display: The Moto G64 5G phone has a 6.5-inch Full HD Plus IPS LCD display panel. The touchscreen supports 120 Hz refresh rate, so very smooth scrolling is possible. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass and lets you surf content with HDR technology on apps like YouTube. And the phone's display offers high-brightness levels. However, the viewing experience will be slightly degraded if used in direct sunlight.

However, the handset is powered by near-stock Android 14 based MyUX custom skin, which offers an ad or bloatware free user interface experience.

Battery Life: The device comes with a large 6,000 mAh capacity battery, which offers up to 24 hours of battery life with moderate usage. This battery supports 30W fast charging. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to fully charge the phone. So it is ideal for those buyers who want – less time charging the phone and more battery life.

Camera Category: This phone has a dual rear camera unit. These cameras are – 50 megapixel primary sensor + 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. The rear cameras capture very good photos in bright environments. However, it does not perform well in low light. On the other hand, the device has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front, which captures very good pictures. But sharpness is lacking.

Camera Features: The Moto G64 5G phone has multiple effective camera modes, such as – Night Vision and Slow Motion. The photo quality of the device is overall good. But the video quality is average. Its camera offers very good stabilization. However, issues with color accuracy and detailing are noticeable.
