Motorola has started its rampage of launching a rugged smartphone called the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India The Lenovo-subsidiary brand has already revealed the name of the chipset used in the device. And now, Flipkart’s microsite has revealed several important details about the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s display and camera.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will come with a curved P-OLED (POLED) display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. According to the microsite that has gone live on Flipkart, the device will have a 6.7-inch screen, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will also support 2,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The Edge 50 Pro will also feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display is certified by Pantone with realistic colors and accurate skin tones.

Notably, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s camera has been confirmed as the world’s first Pantone-validated camera. This means, the output of color and skin tone in captured images will be verified by Pantone. The slightly raised camera island on the rear panel of the handset will include a total of three sensors with a 50-megapixel primary lens. It will offer multiple artificial intelligence or AI features like adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, tilt mode. In addition, users can also create their own unique AI-powered wallpapers with the Edge 50 Pro’s generative AI theming.

It is also known that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will be available in three color options. One of them will be violet, another will have a black body with artificial leather texture and another will come with gradient hues of gray and cream shades. This upcoming Moto phone is already confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor
