This is the first time that the entire lineup of Apple iPhone 16 series is being manufactured in India. Earlier only base models were manufactured in the country. However, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max are going to be manufactured in India from this year. Note that earlier iPhone Pro models were manufactured in China.

When will the sale of iPhone 16 begin?

According to reports, the Made in India iPhone 16 will be available for sale within days of the launch. Let us know that Apple iPhone 16 series will be launched today i.e. September 9. The phones will go on sale within 10 to 12 days.

iPhone 16 will be shipped out of India

It is reported that Foxconn has already started production of iPhone 16 series in India. These Made in India phones will be sold in India as well as exported abroad. Experts say that this is probably the first time that an international company will start selling Made in India smartphones globally as soon as sales begin.

India achieved this feat in four years

The 'Made in India' iPhone 16 smartphone will be exported on such a large scale just four years after the start of iPhone production in India. In fact, due to the situation of conflict between China and America, Apple is moving the production of iPhone from China. In this scenario, India is the perfect place for Apple, with Prime Minister Modi himself calling on companies to produce smartphones.

For this, the government has launched Production Linked Incentive i.e. PLI Scheme. India currently accounts for 14 percent of Apple's total production, which will reach 25 percent by 2025.
