iQOO launched two premium smartphones under the Neo 8 series in China last month, Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro 5G models. While the Pro variant comes in two storage options, now another memory option has been added to it. The phone will now be available in 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage option. Also, as before, iQOO Neo 8 Pro will be available in China in 256 GB and 512 GB storage options. Note that this is the first smartphone from iCo which will be available with 1 TB storage. iQOO Neo 8 Pro: New storage variant
Aiko Neo 8 Pro is now available in the China market with a new 16GB option with 1TB storage. Which is the company’s highest storage configuration. The price has been kept at 3,699 Yuan (about Rs. 42,800). The device will also be available in 16GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage options, priced at 3,099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 35,900) and 3,399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 39,300), respectively.
The company has launched the Neo 8 Pro in China in three color options – Green, Black and Red. Those who buy the top-end storage of the Aiko Neo 8 Pro will get the new Aiko TWS Pro earbuds for free. It is rumored that iCo may launch its Neo series top-end smartphone in India and other markets in the coming days.
iQOO Neo 8 Pro: Specifications and Features
The iQOO Neo 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K (1.5K) resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. The screen is flat and has a punch-hole cutout at the top center for the selfie camera. It offers HDR support, 92.9 percent screen-to-body ratio and 20:9 aspect ratio. MediaTek Dimension 9200 Plus processor is used in it. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro runs on Android 13 based Origin OS 3.0 user interface in China.
For photography, the rear of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866V primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture. And in front of the phone there is a 16 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Also, it supports an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3.
