After long speculation, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro has finally officially entered the Indian market today (July 4). This high-end smartphone offers an AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 50-megapixel primary camera and a large 5,000 mAh battery. Let’s take a detailed look at the price, design and specifications of the new iQOO Neo 7 Pro.
iQOO Neo 7 Pro Price and Availability in India
The 8GB RAM + 128GB model of ICO Neo 7 Pro is priced at Tk 34,999. Also its higher 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant is priced at Tk 37,999. The device will be available for sale on Amazon during the Prime Day sale, i.e. from July 15. Customers can avail instant Rs 2,000 discount on both models if they pay through ICICI Bank and SBI Bank cards. And there is a flat discount of Rs 1,000 for initial buyers So, with bank offers and discounts, the price of ICO Neo 7 Pro can be brought down to just Rs 31,999.
iQOO Neo 7 Pro: Design and Color Options
The design of the Aiko Neo 7 Pro is very similar to the Aiko Neo 7 Racing Edition handset available in the Chinese market. It comes with a curved back panel, with a large rectangular camera island in the upper left corner. And this module houses three image sensors and an LED flash.
It should be noted that the iCo Neo 7 Pro will be available in two color variants in the market and these two versions have different components on the rear panel. The first is the Dark Storm model, which has a layer of AG glass on the rear shell. And the second is the Fearless Flame variant, which features a fake leather back. The leather finish gives the new Neo 7 Pro a premium look.
iQOO Neo 7 Pro: Specifications
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a tall 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED (E5 AMOLED) flat display. This panel houses a centered punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. The screen offers FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz high refresh rate, HDR10+ support, in-display fingerprint scanner and an impressive 1,500 nits peak brightness. The Neo 7 Pro also has a dedicated chip to optimize the display for gaming and other activities.
For enhanced performance, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. This chip is currently very popular in affordable flagship phones, which have launched this year at competitive price points. The processor is only a year old, so it can still offer quite good performance. Phones powered by Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 managed to achieve a score of over 1.3 million or 13 lakh points in the AnTuTu benchmark test.
Reportedly, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will feature this chipset along with another dedicated gaming chip that will help optimize gaming performance to ensure a smooth gameplay experience. The Neo 7 Pro will get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the triple camera setup on the rear panel of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro includes a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary image sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. On the other hand, a 16-megapixel selfie camera is present in the punch-hole cutout on the front of the phone.
For power backup, a large 5,000mAh capacity battery powers the iQOO Neo 7 Pro and it supports 120W fast charging. With the help of this charging technology, it is possible to charge 50 percent of the battery in just 8 minutes. The device also features a VC cooling system for improved heat dissipation. In terms of software, the Neo 7 Pro runs on Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 user interface.
