The first quarter of 2024 is about to end. Smartphone brands have also started preparing for the second quarter as usual. Several companies are actively planning to launch new smartphones in China in the next three months. One such brand is iQOO, which is expected to bring four new smartphones and a flagship tablet to the market. Adding to the speculation, some specifications of iQOO’s upcoming devices have been leaked.
Several iQOO devices are coming to the Chinese market
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has shared some of the features of the three upcoming iCo devices in its Weibo (Chinese microblogging site) post. The first smartphone will have an OLED panel, which will support 1.5K resolution. It will offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 (SM8635) chipset and a massive 6,000 mAh battery. According to the information revealed in a recent report, it may make its debut in the market under the iCo Z9 Turbo branding
Other reports suggest that the iCoa Z9 Turbo will make its debut in April. On the other hand, the standard iCo Z9 and iCo Z9X are expected to come with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1V chipsets respectively, which are likely to launch alongside the Turbo model.
The second device mentioned in DCS’s Weibo post is a tablet, which will come with a 13-inch LCD panel with 3.1K resolution. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and 11,500 mAh battery. It may be unveiled in China as the iQOO Pad 2. This iCo Tab is likely to be a rebranded version of the recently launched Vivo Pad 3 Pro tablet in China.
Finally, digital chat station reported another iCo phone featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) chipset. It will have a 1.5K resolution OLED display and a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. There is no clear information available about the commercial name of this phone yet. While some reports claim that it could be the iQOO Neo 9s or Neo 9 Racing Edition, there is also a possibility that the iQOO Neo 10 series of phones.
