iPhone Hack Alert: The government is hacking the iPhone of opposition leaders? Apple’s reluctance to provide evidence

Five months ago several opposition leaders received a warning on their iPhones that they could face state-sponsored cyber attacks. In the notification sent by Apple to the leaders, the government was monitoring their phones and their phones could be hacked at any time. After which the Indian government wants to know details about this notification from the tech giant. However, the center has recently informed that Apple has not given any clear information on this matter even after five months have passed.

Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that the government has asked Apple two questions. First, whether their devices are secure and if so, what is the reason for alerting opposition members?

He said that Apple will never admit that their iPhone is defective. Not only Apple, no other company will admit this. That’s why the popular smartphone brand is silent.

The government is increasing the pressure on Apple

Earlier, a Washington Post report claimed that the government had instructed Apple to be a little political and think about the political consequences before sending such a notification. The government has also put pressure on Apple for this. However, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said about this report that it is a completely fake report. He said, this report of Washington Post is baseless and based on fiction. The government simply asked Apple about the matter.
