One of the key features of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series is the super-fast charging technology. The higher-end Note 40 Pro Plus 5G model supports the 100W All-Round FastCharge 2.0 system, which can charge the phone to 50% in just 8 minutes. On the other hand, the Note 40 Pro 5G has a 45W fast charging system, which can charge up to 50% in 26 minutes.
Both phones come with 20W wireless MagCharge support. The phones also support reverse charging, capable of sharing power with other devices either wired or wirelessly at speeds of up to 10 watts. The series features high-density batteries, which Infinix claims can complete 1,600 full charge cycles while retaining 80% of their original capacity.
In terms of display, the Infinix Note 40 Pro series features a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED (AMOLED) display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for a smooth and immersive viewing experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and offers a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. For performance, the Infinix Note 40 Pro lineup uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor built on a 6 nanometer process, paired with 8GB (Pro) / 12GB (Pro+) LPDDR4X RAM. Both the handsets come with 256GB of storage, but the storage capacity can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
In terms of cameras, the Infinix Note 40 Pro series has a triple-camera system on the back, featuring a powerful 108-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) to capture excellent quality photos and videos. Also, there is a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. And for selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front camera on the front of the phone.
Note that the Infinix Note 40 Pro series runs on the Android 14 operating system, with Infinix’s own XOS 14 custom skin on top. Other notable features include in-display fingerprint sensor, IR sensor, JBL-tuned stereo speakers, dust and water resistant IP53 rating.
