Honor X60: Won't break even if it falls on the floor, Honor brings a budget phone with drop resistance

The Honor X60 smartphone has been spotted on China's 3C certification site for the first time. It has 35W fast charging support. The phone may come with a drop resistance feature like other models of the company.

Honor recently launched the Honor 200 series of smartphones in the global market. The company is also rumored to be working on a new flip phone. And this time, the next generation Honor X60 series has also started speculation in the technology circles. Because a handset from this lineup has appeared on China's 3C (CCC) certification platform, hinting at the phone's upcoming launch as well as revealing its charging speed. Let's find out what information has surfaced about the Honor X60.

Honor X60 got 3C certification

A new Honor smartphone with the model number ALT-AN00 has appeared on the China Compulsory Certification platform today. Although the listing didn't reveal the name of the phone, tipster Waylab on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo claims that it is actually the Honor X60 smartphone. According to the 3C certification, the smartphone will support 35W fast charging (11V at 3.1A), similar to last year's Honor X50 series.

Apart from the charging speed, the 3C database has not revealed any other details. However, a report published earlier this week revealed some information about the Honor X60 series. The smartphones are expected to offer quad curved displays, large batteries and “super” drop resistance. Honor has launched devices with anti-drop feature before, so the presence of this feature in the Honor X60 lineup is not surprising. Apart from these, no further details of the upcoming series are available for now.

It should be noted that both the standard Honor X50 and Honor X50 Pro models included in the Honor X50 series, which debuted in July last year, have a 6.78-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1,220 x 2,652 pixels. The Pro variant runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, while the standard Honor X50 model uses the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. Both the devices have a massive 5,800mAh battery with 35W fast charging support. For photography, the handset has a dual camera system with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the front of the phone.
