The specifications of the Honor Play 50 Plus are leaked
An Honor smartphone with model number CLK-AN00 has been approved by China Compulsory Certification (3C) authorities. A Chinese tipster claims that the phone could be a part of the brand’s Play series. The company is currently working on the successor to the Honor Play 40 Plus that was launched last October. As a result, the upcoming Honor Play 50 Plus model is believed to be listed on the 3C platform. The certification revealed that the phone could make its debut by the end of next month or by September.
According to the 3C listing, this smartphone will support 35W fast charging technology. It is also reported that the Honor Play 50 Plus will feature a FullHD+ resolution display and a MediaTek Dimension 700 processor. The handset will also be powered by a large 6,000 mAh capacity battery. Apart from this, no other information regarding Play 50 Plus has been revealed. Looking at these specifications, it can be guessed that it is going to be launched as a mid-range phone.
However, a report has also hinted that the device seen on the 3C could be the successor to the Honor X40 GT. This model was also launched last October. However, it has a higher 66W fast charging support. Hopefully, more information about this device will be revealed soon. If it appears on other certification platforms, it will be possible to be more sure about its name and rest of the specifications.
