Popular brand Honor is currently working on their next generation number series smartphone. And now the Honor 200 Lite handset included in this lineup has appeared on the UAE’s TDRA (TRDA) certification platform, indicating the phone’s upcoming global launch. Let’s take a look at what else has come out about the Honor 200 Lite.
Honor 200 Lite got TRDA UAE Certification approval
Honor 200 Lite with model number LLY-NX1 has appeared in the database of the Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority of the United Arab Emirates. From which some important information emerges. First, it confirms that Honor’s upcoming series will be called “Honor 200 Series” and second, there could be a “Lite” model.
Note that the Honor 100 series launched in China in November last year consisted of only standard and Pro models. Hence, the Honor 200 Lite is going to be a new addition to its successor lineup. Besides, the TDRA certification doesn’t say anything more about the Honor 200 Lite.
Honor 100 series specifications
Both the standard Honor 100 and 100 Pro models have quad-curved OLED (OLED) displays, but the front camera design is slightly different. The Honor 100 features a single punch-hole camera, while the Pro houses a pill-shaped dual-lens setup. The Honor 100 series features a 6.7-inch (Honor 100) or 6.78-inch (Honor 100 Pro) OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh and high brightness. And for security, both phones include an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
For performance, the Honor 100 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Honor 100 Pro is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Both the phones have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. But the Pro model houses an additional 32-megapixel telephoto camera for optical zoom.
For power backup, both the standard Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro models have a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, but only the Pro model supports 66W wireless charging. Also, this series supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3 version.
