Google launched the Google Pixel 9 series at their 'Made by Google' event. The lineup includes four smartphones – Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. With the new lineup, Google has targeted the premium smartphone market. The first three models of the series were launched as normal smartphones and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold foldable phone. Talking about the specifications of the Google Pixel 9 lineup, the Pixel 9 phone has a 6.1-inch OLED display, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL models are available with 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch OLED displays. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is used to protect the display. The new lineup will get Tensor G4 processor and up to 16GB of RAM for powerful performance.
Talking about the camera, the Pixel 9 smartphone has a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel primary and 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor at the back. Talking about the Pro models, they will be available with a triple rear camera setup with 50-megapixel primary, 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 48-megapixel telephoto lens. Both the models offer a 42-megapixel selfie camera. The company has also promised software updates on these smartphones for 7 years.
Talking about the power backup, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones are powered by a 4700 mAh battery. And the Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5060 mAh battery. All models will support 45W fast charging.
