Poco has been rumored to be gearing up for the launch of its M series Poco M6 4G smartphone in the global market for quite some time now. And now the company has finally announced the official launch date of the phone. Poco confirmed in a post from their official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle that the Poco M6 4G phone will be launched globally on June 11. The device is said to be very similar to the Redmi 13 4G phone in terms of design, which further strengthens the speculation that it is a rebranded model of the same Redmi phone. Through an online post, the Chinese brand has confirmed that it will come in three color options – White, Black and Purple.
Also, the design revealed in the teaser confirmed that the Poco M6 4G phone will have a 108-megapixel primary camera on the back, which is quite remarkable for a budget phone. The company's X post revealed that the upcoming Poco M series phone will be available in two storage options, namely 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The early bird price for the 6GB variant is USD 129 (approx. Tk 10,775), while the 8GB variant is priced at USD 149 (approx. Tk 12,445).
Talking about the specifications, the Poco M6 4G phone is expected to have the same hardware as the Redmi 13 4G handset. Note that the Redmi phone has a large 6.79-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It uses the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra processor. For photography, the Poco M6 4G phone has a dual camera setup on the back with a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. And in front of the phone is a 13 megapixel selfie camera.
For power backup, the Poco M6 4G phone has a large 5,030mAh battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging.
