Oppo is expected to launch the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro smartphones in the global market this month. Recent reports have revealed that the standard model carries the model number CPH2625, while the Pro variant has the model number CPH2639. Last month, the standard Oppo Reno 12 model was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. And now, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro variant has also appeared on the same benchmarking platform. Oppo Reno 12 Pro (Global) has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro phone with model number CPH2639 is listed on the Geekbench benchmark database with a MediaTek chipset. This processor consists of four CPU cores running at a clock speed of 2 GHz and four CPU cores running at a clock speed of 2.5 GHz. Also, the Geekbench listing's source code has revealed that it includes the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.
These details indicate that the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will be powered by the recently launched MediaTek Dimension 7300 chipset. According to the Geekbench listing, the device will have 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 operating system. The benchmark database also revealed that this Oppo device scored 1,043 points in the single-core test and 2,944 points in the multi-core test.
Notably, the Oppo Reno 12 phone was earlier spotted on Geekbench with the same CPU and GPU. Hence, it is possible that this model will also come with the MediaTek Dimensitye 7300 chipset. The Oppo Reno 12 will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 OS, according to the Geekbench listing. This model scored 1,033 and 2,750 points in the benchmark platform's single-core and multi-core tests.
Note that the Oppo Reno 12 series was launched in China last month. The Chinese version of the standard model has the MediaTek Dimensity 8250 chipset, while the Pro model comes with the Dimensity 9200+ processor. It is speculated that the global models of the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro handsets will have different cameras than their Chinese counterparts.
