One of the special features of Nothing phones or earbuds is the transparent design. So far, the company has launched True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds and smartphones with transparent designs. Currently the company is gearing up for the launch of their next generation Nothing Phone (2). Several details about the phone have already been confirmed by the company. Recently, Nothing’s founder and CEO, Carl Pei, announced that they are coming out with a transparent Type-C to Type-C cable soon. As mentioned, the design of the cable has been revealed. The transparent charging cable is expected to be available with the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) for now.

Nothing is gearing up to launch its second smartphone in India and other global markets on July 11 The new Nothing Phone (2) will have the same transparent design as its predecessor. However, it is expected that this handset will see some improvements in terms of glyph interface and LED lighting. The Nothing Phone (1) has managed to stand out among numerous mid-budget range smartphones for its sleek design.
, the company’s founder and chief executive officer Carl Pei revealed the first look of the transparent Type-C cable of the Nothing Phone (2) on his official Twitter handle. The ports on both ends of the new charging cable will have transparent covers instead of plastic like normal cables. Inside the port, Nothing’s logo is also seen. Except for the port, the rest i.e. the cable part is expected to be covered by polycarbonate. The rest of the information about the charging cable is yet to surface. Whether it will be sold separately or just included in the Nothing Phone (2) box is not yet known.
Nothing Phone 2 Specifications (Possible)
Nothing Phone (2) will enter the market as a premium grade smartphone. It will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, which will support FullHD+ resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, which may be paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Phone (2) will run Android 13 based Nothing OS 1.5 (Nothing OS 1.5) user interface. The company recently informed that Nothing OS 2.0 is currently being worked on.
For photography, Nothing Phone (2) will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the rear panel. And in front of the phone will probably be a 32 megapixel selfie camera. For power backup, the Phone (2) will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Also, it will include Glyph interface, in-display fingerprint scanner and dual speakers. The upcoming handset is expected to launch in India for around Rs 40,000.
