Honor launched the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro under the Magic 6 series in China last January. Earlier, it was rumored that the lineup will also feature a special RSR Porsche Design variant. However, the Chinese company did not unveil the model at the January event. However, it is speculated that the device will make its debut in China next March. While its official name is yet to be revealed, it is currently being called the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design. And now, the phone has received approval from China’s 3C (CCC), indicating an imminent launch.
Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design got 3C certification
Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro available in China have model numbers BVL-AN00 and BVL-AN16 respectively. Earlier this month, a new variant of the Magic 6 series with model number BVL-AN20 received approval from China’s MIIT authorities. It is believed to be the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche design. Now, it has appeared in the China Compulsory Certification Database, revealing potential fast charging capabilities. The phone’s charger will be able to provide a maximum charging speed of 100 watts.
Although, the Honor Magic 6 RSR has been spotted with a 100W charger, it is also rumored that the phone may support only 80W charging like the Honor Magic 6 Pro. Apart from this, no other information is known about the other specifications.
Notably, the flagship Oppo Find X7 Ultra has a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony LYT-900 camera sensor. Similarly, upcoming flagship phones like Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra are expected to have the same primary sensor. The Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is expected to ace these flagship phones in the photography department with a new 50-megapixel 1-inch OmniVision OV50K primary camera.
