Oppo launched its new budget range smartphone, the Oppo A3 Pro, in China a few weeks ago. Since this is the Pro model, it was thought that the base model of the A3 series will also be available soon. Adding to the speculation, a new Oppo handset has been spotted on China’s TENAA certification platform, which is believed to be the standard Oppo A3. Oppo A3 appears in TENNA certification database
Oppo A3 phone with model number PJT110 has been listed on TENAA certification platform. According to the listing, the phone will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400×1,080 pixels. It will have a 5,375 mAh battery, which the company may market as a 5,500 mAh battery.
According to TENAA database, the Oppo A3 handset will come with an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz peak frequency. It could be the MediaTek Dimension 7020 processor. It is reported that the phone will be available in 8 GB and 12 GB memory options. Besides, Oppo A3 can come in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage.
For photography, the Oppo A3 is expected to feature a dual-rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, it will house a 16-megapixel front camera. This Oppo smartphone will have a microSD card slot for additional storage and will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. In terms of connectivity, the device will offer support for 5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
