Xiaomi launched their first ultra flagship model Xiaomi 12S Ultra in 2022 Last year the brand announced the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in the global market but did not unveil it in India But the company’s latest X post has raised hopes among tech-lovers that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will arrive in India.
Incidentally, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone was presented at the recently held ‘Mobile World Congress’ (MWC 2024) event.
Key Features of Xiaomi 14 Ultra Smartphone
The upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone will come with a rear camera unit co-engineered by Leica and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It will feature a 6.73-inch Quad HD LTPO AMOLED display panel, which will support 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision technology. This touchscreen will be protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass. Adrenaline 750 GPU will be used as graphics card. 12 GB/16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB/512 GB/1 Terabyte UFS 4.0 memory will be available as storage. The device will run on the latest Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin.
As we mentioned earlier, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone will feature a Leica tuned quad rear camera setup. Cameras – 50-megapixel Sony LYT 900 lens with f/1.63 aperture, OIS (sensor size: 1-inch) + 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 with 3.2x optical zoom, 75mm focal length and f/1.8 aperture Telephoto sensor + 5x optical zoom, 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope lens with 120mm focal length and f/2.5 aperture + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with 122° field-of-view, f/1.8 aperture. Meanwhile, a 32-megapixel selfie shooter can be seen on the front of the device.
For power backup, it has a 5,300 mAh capacity battery, which will support 90 W fast charging, 80 W wireless charging and 10 W reverse wireless charging technology. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner will be available as a security feature. Besides, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone will be dust and water resistant as it is IP68 certified.
